General Terms and Conditions of Sale

PREAMBLE

These general terms and conditions of sale (hereinafter referred to as the "General Terms and Conditions") govern the distance selling terms and conditions between any user of the www.23maiparis.com website wishing to make a purchase (hereinafter referred to as the "Internet user") and ELG PARIS, whose head office is located at 21 rue Spontini, 75116 Paris, France (hereinafter referred to as "ELG PARIS").

The company can be contacted by e-mail using the form on the home page.


OBJECT

ELG PARIS' main activity is the distance selling of children's goods via the www.23maiparis.com website . The present General Terms and Conditions are the only ones applicable, unless expressly agreed otherwise in advance in writing. They replace any previous version.

ELG PARIS may modify some of these provisions at any time. These modifications take effect as soon as they are put online and apply to orders placed subsequently.

Any validated order implies unreserved acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions.


PRODUCTS AND COMPLIANCE

Products are presented on the site with descriptions and photos that are as accurate as possible. However, there may be minor differences (particularly in color, depending on the screen or the quality of the photographs). These cannot be considered as defects of conformity.

The essential characteristics, prices, delivery and payment terms are clearly indicated. Orders are honored within the limits of available stocks. In the event of unavailability, ELG PARIS undertakes to inform the Internet user as soon as possible.

Some boxes contain accessories to complete the outfit. If an accessory worth less than €15 is out of stock, it may be replaced by an equivalent item.


PERSONALIZATION

The site offers a hand-embroidered product customization service.

The Internet user is responsible for the text provided at the time of the order. ELG PARIS will faithfully reproduce this text as indicated on the order form.

Personalized items cannot be returned or exchanged. In the event of a personalization error attributable to the customer, no refund or exchange can be requested.

If a customization is omitted or too long, it is the customer's responsibility to contact ELG PARIS for any modification.


PRICE

Prices shown are in euros, inclusive of all taxes. They may be modified at any time, but the applicable prices are those in force at the time of the order.

Any customs duties or local taxes may apply and are the sole responsibility of the Internet user.

The goods remain the property of ELG PARIS until full payment has been received.

Processing fees are included in the displayed prices. Delivery costs are indicated at the time of ordering.


PAYMENT

Payment is made by credit card (CB, Visa, Mastercard) via the secure Stripe platform, or via PayPal.

Transaction security is provided by Stripe. Bank details are encrypted and are never stored by ELG PARIS.

The Internet user certifies that he/she is the legal holder of the card used. If payment fails, the order is automatically cancelled.


DELIVERY

ELG PARIS delivers its products in France and Europe. Preparation time is 48 hours, followed by an average delivery time of 5 working days (unless otherwise indicated on the site).

Delivery risks are transferred to the buyer as soon as the goods are handed over to the carrier.

Delivery times are indicative: ELG PARIS cannot be held responsible for delays beyond its control.

In the event of non-receipt within 10 days of dispatch, the customer should contact customer service at bonjour@23maiparis.com. An investigation will be opened with the carrier (GLS). This may take up to 45 days.

Upon receipt, the customer must check the condition of the package. In the event of any anomaly (missing product, damaged package, etc.), a claim must be made on the delivery slip and confirmed by e-mail, with supporting photos, to bonjour@23maiparis.com.

📦 Tracking & Delivery times

Please carefully review your shipping information before submitting your order. Once your order is confirmed, our logistics system does not allow us to make any changes (address, products, size, quantity, or shipping method).

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive aconfirmation emailcontainingyourtracking number, allowing you to track every step of the delivery process.

IMPORTANT! Ifthe address isincorrect or incomplete, if there is no phone number, or if any other information prevents the package from being delivered properly, it will be returned to us. The customer will be responsible for the costs of return shipping and reshipment. 

This rule also applies to any package shipped to a pickup point and not collected within the time frame specified by the carrier.

If the package is returned to our warehouse, return and reshipping fees will apply; if you choose a refund, return fees will apply.

Shipping time :

  • Products that are not embroidered or printed: shipped within24 to 48 business hours.

  • Embroidered items: shipped within approximately7 business days. Our workshop embroiders all garments upon order, so depending on our workload, orders may take up to 15 business days to process.

  • Children's products:shippedseparately within approximately 3–5 business days.

👉If your order includes both embroidered and non-embroidered/printed items, it will be shipped in a single shipment once the embroidered items have been completed in our workshop.

Chronopost Next-Day Delivery:€14.00- Guaranteed delivery for all orders placed before 1:00 PM. This applies to deliveries Monday through Friday. If your order is placed on Friday after 1:00 PM, it will be delivered on Monday.

🔁 Returns & Exchanges

Non-refundable items:

  • All purchases ofembroidered products,whetherpersonalized or not, arefinal:no returns or exchanges

Refundable products:

  • Unprinted or unembroidered itemsmaybereturned within 14 calendar days of the delivery date.The customer isresponsible for return shippingcosts. A €4 return processing fee will be deducted from the refund. 

  • Items must be returned directly to our warehouse. Nodeliveries to pickup points will be accepted.

  • Items must :

✅ Quality guarantee - 30 days: 

We take the utmost care in crafting our garments. Each item comes with a30-day warranty from the date of receipt,coveringany manufacturing defects.

After this period, no exchanges or replacements will be possible, even in the event of a defect.

We therefore encourage you toinspect and test your items upon receipt—includingchecking that the zippers work properly—even if you do not plan to use them right away, to ensure they are in perfect working order within the warranty period.

Wear and tear resulting from use or washing does not constitute a manufacturing defect.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS

In accordance with article L. 121-20 of the French Consumer Code, the Internet user has a right of withdrawal of 14 days from receipt, without justification.

However, this right does not apply to personalized items (article L. 121-20-2).

To return an item, the Internet user must contact ELG PARIS at bonjour@23maiparis.com, mentioning the reason for the return and the order number.

The customer must keep proof of delivery. In the event of loss, no refund will be made.


PERSONAL DATA

In accordance with the French Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978, Internet users have the right to access, rectify, oppose and delete their personal data.

The data collected is used solely within the framework of the commercial relationship with ELG PARIS. It is never sold or shared with third parties. Bank details are never held by ELG PARIS.


INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The entire www.23maiparis.com website, including texts, images, sounds, videos and technologies, is protected by intellectual property rights.

Any unauthorized reproduction or use is strictly prohibited and constitutes an infringement of copyright, for which the author may be held civilly and criminally liable.


DISPUTES

These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law.

In the event of a dispute, an amicable settlement must be sought. Failing this, the French courts will have sole jurisdiction.
