During pregnancy, there’s a never-ending stream of purchases, and budget matters. Our maternity jeans start at €57 and are designed to last: they feature two side elastic bands that grow with your belly right through to full term, and adjustable styles that can also be worn after giving birth. They’re available in raw denim, gray, and black, in sizes S through XL.

How much do our maternity jeans cost?

Our two styles with side elastic bands—the raw maternity jeans and the gray maternity jeans—are €57 each. These are our most affordable jeans, and they’ll see you through your entire pregnancy.

Our two adjustable styles—the adjustable raw-denim maternity jeans and the adjustable black maternity jeans—are priced at €75. In addition to elastic waistbands, they feature a button-adjustment system, which allows you to continue wearing them after giving birth.

Why are maternity jeans a worthwhile purchase?

A pair of regular jeans quickly becomes too tight, and many women end up buying a size larger, and then another. Maternity jeans eliminate the need for these repeated purchases: their side elastic bands stretch to accommodate your growing belly, from the fourth month until delivery.

Worn several times a week for five or six months, and then again after the baby is born, the cost per wear becomes very low. It's one of the most-worn items in a maternity wardrobe.

€57 or €75: Which model should you choose based on your budget?

If you're looking primarily for maternity jeans, the elastic-waist style for €57 is the most affordable option. It automatically adjusts to your belly without needing to be adjusted and remains comfortable in the weeks following childbirth.

If you want a pair of jeans that will last you longer, the adjustable style for €75 pays for itself over time. Its buttons let you tighten the waist as your body changes after childbirth, which saves you from having to buy a pair of transitional pants.

How many pairs of maternity jeans should I plan to buy?

One pair of jeans is enough for many expectant mothers, especially if you alternate them with dresses or leggings. If you wear jeans almost every day, having a second pair makes laundry easier.

To stay within your budget, choose two different colors—for example, natural and gray, or natural and black. This way, you can mix and match your outfits without buying a lot of new clothes.

How can you choose the right size so you don't make a mistake?

Our elastic-waist jeans (raw and gray) run large: we recommend choosing one size smaller than your usual size. Getting the right size from the start means one less return and a pair of jeans that will last you a lifetime.

Key Information: Andy is 1.60 m tall, is 8 months pregnant, and wears a size S; Léo is 1.83 m tall, is 4 months pregnant, and also wears a size S. If you're unsure, please contact us before placing your order.

How can you mix up your outfits with just one pair of jeans?

Jeans are the easiest staple to style: just change up your top. A T-shirt and sneakers for the weekend, a blouse and ballet flats for the office, and a long sweater and ankle boots as soon as the temperature drops.

Choose tops that you can keep after giving birth, such as our maternity and nursing T-shirts or our maternity sweaters. They’ll come in handy again while you’re breastfeeding.

When should I buy it?

Most women need them between the 12th and 16th weeks, when their usual jeans start to feel tight. Some women need them sooner, if they're experiencing bloating or are pregnant with multiples.

The sooner you buy it, the longer you'll wear it, and the more you'll get your money's worth. As soon as it starts to feel too tight, that's the right time.

Can you wear it after giving birth?

Yes, and that's what makes it a good investment. In the weeks following childbirth, the belly gradually returns to its normal shape, and a rigid waistband is often uncomfortable—the elastic side panels remain comfortable.

With the adjustable style, simply tighten the buttons as the weeks go by. Paired with our nursing clothes featuring side zippers, it creates a practical outfit for feeding your baby.

How can you make it last as long as possible?

Wash them before wearing them for the first time, then machine wash them at a maximum of 30 °C, inside out, with similar colors. There’s no need to wash them after every wear: jeans air out very well between washes.

Avoid using a dryer andbleach, as they can weaken the elastic and cause the color to fade. Air-dry it and, if necessary, iron it on the reverse side at a low temperature. Always follow the care label instructions.

How long does delivery take?

Our maternity jeans are shipped within 48 business hours. You'll receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number.

What is the return policy?

You have 14 days after receipt to request a refund for an item that does not meet your expectations; exchanges are not permitted. Personalized items with embroidery cannot be returned or refunded. Please contact our customer service team in advance at bonjour@23maiparis.com.
