What are maternity pants?
Maternity pants are designed to accommodate your growing belly without feeling tight or slipping down. Our styles are classic-fit jeans with two elastic bands on the sides of the waistband to adapt to your changing figure.

What models do you offer?
The collection features several styles of maternity jeans:
- Raw maternity jeans, a classic denim style that goes with everything;
- gray maternity jeans, which are more comfortable for everyday wear;
- Adjustable raw or black jeans with a button-adjustment system.
Prices range from €57 for elastic-band models to €75 for adjustable models.
How do adjustable maternity jeans work?
In addition to the elastic bands on the sides, these adjustable jeans feature a button-adjustment system at the waist. You can widen the waistband as the months go by, as your belly grows.
After giving birth, you can gradually tighten them: these jeans are also great for the postpartum period, when it takes a while for your stomach to return to its original shape.
Why choose jeans over soft pants?
Maternity jeans have a more structured look than leggings or sweatpants: they're suitable for the office, outings, and special occasions, while remaining comfortable thanks to their tailored fit.

What size should I choose?
Please note: Our maternity jeans with elastic waistbands run large. We recommend choosing one size smaller than your current size.

When should you start wearing maternity pants?
Most expectant mothers start wearing it in the second trimester, when their regular pants become uncomfortable around the waist. But there's no reason not to wear it sooner, for comfort.
The adjustable style is ideal if you want a single pair of jeans to wear throughout your entire pregnancy: it adapts from the first month to the last.
What should you wear with maternity jeans?
Maternity jeans pair well with a maternity T-shirt and sneakers for everyday wear, and with a blouse and ankle boots for a more dressy look.

Yes, it's actually very practical. After giving birth, your belly often stays rounded for several weeks: maternity jeans stay comfortable during this time.

Are maternity jeans comfortable when sitting?
Yes. The elastic panels on the sides allow your waist to breathe when you're sitting—whether at the office or in the car—without the jeans squeezing your stomach.
On the adjustable model, you can loosen the buttons slightly for long days of sitting, then tighten them again afterward.
Which color should I choose?
Raw denim is the most versatile: it goes with everything, from a white T-shirt to a printed blouse. Black gives a more polished look, perfect for the office or going out.

How do you care for maternity jeans?
Wash it at 30 °C, turned inside out, to preserve the denim's color and the elasticity of the elastic bands.
Avoid using a dryer, as it can damage the elastic and cause the jeans to shrink. Specific instructions are listed on each product page.
How long does it take for the clothing to be shipped?
Clothing is shipped within 48 business hours. For items with custom embroidery, please allow up to about eight business days.
What is the return policy?
You have 14 days after receipt to request a refund for an item that does not meet your expectations; exchanges are not permitted. Personalized items with embroidery cannot be returned or refunded. Please contact our customer service team in advance at bonjour@23maiparis.com.
