How does a nursing garment work?

Our garments feature two side zippers, one on each side of the chest. To breastfeed, the mother unzips the side she’s feeding from: the baby can access the breast, and the garment stays in place.

When zipped up, the zippers blend into the seam: the garment looks like a classic T-shirt, sweater, or dress. So moms can wear it anywhere—even after breastfeeding.

What size should I choose for a gift?

Choose the expectant mother's usual pre-pregnancy size: our styles accommodate postpartum body changes. If you don't know her size, discreetly ask a family member or friend.

If you're not sure, it's often safer to go one size up. And if you're really unsure, a gift card lets them choose for themselves.

Can you give a personalized piece of clothing as a gift?

Yes, several designs can be embroidered: the #MOMMY T-shirt with “MUM OF” above some hearts, or designs featuring an initial or a short phrase. Embroidery with the name you’ve chosen for your baby always makes a great impression.

What clothes should you choose based on the season of birth?

For a winter birth, a nursing sweater or sweatshirt is ideal: it keeps the mother warm while breastfeeding. For a summer birth, opt for a T-shirt or a lightweight tank top.

Can a group of people give a gift together?

Yes, that's actually quite common for a baby shower. If you're pooling your resources, you can give a complete outfit: a matching sweater and T-shirt, or a onesie Breastfeeding dress and pajamas for bedtime.

You can also combine your contributions into a gift card with a higher value, so Mom can put together her own wardrobe.

When should you give the gift?

A baby shower is usually held during the third trimester: this is the perfect time to give a nursing top as a gift, which the mom can pack in her hospital bag.

Many of our clothes can already be worn during the final stages of pregnancy: she’ll be able to enjoy them right away and then use them as soon as she starts breastfeeding.

How should I wrap the gift?

Place the garment in a pretty Cart along with a few thoughtful touches for the mom: a sweet note, some breastfeeding tea, or some hand cream. Don't forget to include a small gift for the baby to round out the package.

Will the garment still be usable after breastfeeding?

Yes. Once the zippers are zipped up, it's just like any other piece of clothing, and the mom will continue to wear it long after weaning. That's what makes it a lasting gift.

How do you care for nursing clothes?

Our clothes should be washed at 30 °C on the delicate cycle, turned inside out with zippers closed. They hold up well to frequent washing during the first few months.

We recommend avoiding the dryer and not ironing directly over the embroidery. Specific instructions are provided on each product page.

How long does it take for the clothing to be shipped?

Clothing is shipped within 48 business hours. For items with custom embroidery, please allow up to about eight business days.

What is the return policy?
